Sex on The Beach Cocktail Recipe & Tutorial

What better cocktail to celebrate New Year’s Eve then the famous Sex on the Beach ?

" Sex On The Beach "

History behind this drink

This provocative yet very popular drink has a bit of an unclear history as it is known to have emerged around the 1980s but the original author is still unverified.

It is thought of that a certain bartender has discovered this drink by combining a Fuzzy Navel ( Orange Juice & Peach Schnapps ) together with a Cape Codder ( Vodka & Cranberry juice ) which resulted in this delightful cocktail.

One of the easiest cocktails out there. We highly suggest you go for it anytime you have guests and are unsure of what to make.

Here is
how you make this cocktail

Pro !

What type of ice cubes should I use ?

Just like many things, when it comes to making cocktails, there’s always personal preference when it comes to the recipe, the volumes of ingredients, the shake duration and lots more, including the type of ice cubes in use.

We don’t have a specific preference when it comes to us, but we try to use what we think fits best with the recipe in hand.

For the Sex on the Beach cocktail you’ll mostly want to use regular ice cubes, or the slightly larger square ones like we used ourselves. Does not mean you can’t use pebbled/crushed ice, but they will overly dilute the drink and it is not the best thing for this recipe.

What type of ice cube is your favorite ?
