Chocolate Martini Cocktail: A Boozy Dessert for Grown-Up Sweet Tooths

If you’ve ever wished your dessert came in cocktail form, the Chocolate Martini is your dream come true. Velvety, sweet, and unapologetically indulgent, it’s a drink built for chocolate lovers and vodka fans alike.

Whether you’re craving an after-dinner treat or a date-night showstopper, this one delivers. So, let’s shake things up.

" Chocolate Martini "

Who invented this wonderful mix?

The Chocolate Martini may look modern and Instagram-ready, but its roots go back to the glamorous golden age of Hollywood. Legend has it that actor Rock Hudson created the drink in the 1950s, inspired by a shared obsession with both martinis and chocolate.

While today’s variations include everything from Irish cream to heavy cream, the version we’re making is one of the simplest and most delicious. With just vodka and crème de cacao brown, it hits that perfect sweet spot between elegance and indulgence.

Want to get fancy? You can easily riff on it with creamy add-ins or creative garnishes, but the original two-ingredient version is a star all on its own.

Here is our
version of this cocktail
Ingredients

60 ml ( 2 oz ) Vodka
60 ml ( 2 oz ) Crème de Cacao Brown

Garnish : Chocolate Sprinkles & Chocolate Chips

How to do it
  1. Pour the Vodka & Crème de Cacao Brown into the Shaker using a Jigger for measurement.
  2. Add ice cubes
  3. Shake Well
  4. Garnish the Cocktail Glass with Chocolate Sprinkles
  5. Add a large, rounded ice cube inside the glass using an ice tong/pick
  6. Strain the cocktail into the glass
  7. Garnish with chocolate chips

Na zdravi !

Shake or Stir? Here’s the Deal.

This version of the Chocolate Martini is fair game for either method.

Stirring will keep it silky and spirit-forward, while shaking gives it a cooler, slightly frothier finish.

If you’re adding cream, definitely shake to make sure everything blends properly. No cream? Stirring works like a charm.
