How to make a Vodka Stinger Cocktail

The following cocktail is a very simple duo made from Vodka and Creme de Menthe that is also very famous

" Vodka Stinger "

How old is this recipe ?

Dating back to the 1890s, this cocktail may have come from ” The Judge ” which is a cocktail made from brandy, simple syrup & creme de menthe which was created by William Schmidt’s in 1892.

It was not initially seen much for a cocktail but rather a stirred drink that is drank as a digestif ( something you drink after eating )

Here's our version of the Vodka Stinger

When do we pre-chill the cocktail glass ?

There isn’t necessarily a right or wrong time to ever pre-chill a glass. It is actually a very nice thing to do as when the glass is cold it gives a very good feeling when the rim touches your lips as you are drinking.

In our case we almost never pre-chill the glasses because we want to preserve their look as we present them to you.

But surely we would always advice you to pre-chill the glasses you use for your cocktails as it’s such an amazing experience !

Do you normally pre-chill your glasses ?
