" Sex On The Beach "

🍹 A Quick Backstory on this Cocktail

Despite its provocative name, the Sex on the Beach cocktail rose to popularity in the 1980s and has since become a party staple across the globe.

The origin isn’t fully documented, but most stories trace it back to a Florida bartender who combined two popular drinks of the time: the Fuzzy Navel (peach schnapps + orange juice) and the Cape Codder (vodka + cranberry juice).

Toss in a splash of grenadine, and you’ve got a vibrant, sunset-colored cocktail that delivers beachy vibes in every sip. Sweet, fruity, and just boozy enough, it’s an easy choice when you want something festive without the fuss.

Pro !

🧊 What’s the Best Ice for Sex on the Beach?

Stick with regular or large square ice cubes for this one.

Crushed ice will dilute the drink too fast and wash out those bold fruity flavors.

You want the cocktail chilled, not watered down.
