Orange Blossom Cocktail Recipe & Tutorial

Is your mouth just craving a refreshing cocktail to sip through after a long tiring day at work ? or maybe you just love anything with orange ! Either way you’re going to love the following recipe

" Orange Blossom "

History of this cocktail

This is one of the very old classics as it dates back to the 1930s when it appeared in the ” Old Waldorf-Astoria Bar Book ”

It is mostly known with it’s original version that is made from equal parts of Gin, Sweet Vermouth & Orange juice and served ” up ” in a Martini Glass

The other version is the one we are doing today and it replaces the Sweet Vermouth with Triple Sec, this one is served on the rocks in a short or Highball/Collins glass.

When should you
use crushed ice ?

There is certainly not a specific answer, since cocktails have a lot of personal preference that go into them. You could go with either regular ice cubes or crushed ice or any cool ice cubes from your favorite molds !

However most cocktails that contain a large amount of fruit juice in their ingredients are highly complimented when served on crushed ice as the drink just becomes super refreshing.

We would advise you try the Orange Blossom with crushed ice as it is amazing !  As far as how you could make them, there’s plenty of ways ranging from electrical machines, to manual ice crusher machines all the way to cracking them with your bare hands !

What is your favorite way to make crushed ice ?
